Micromobility Survey Open Through Sunday

The questionnaire aims to better understand where, why and how people in Boulder use, or don’t use, the shared micromobility system. The results of this questionnaire will help guide upcoming decisions aimed at updating and improving the program.

“Shared micromobility has been key to helping people travel in Boulder for over a decade,” said Transportation & Mobility Department Director Blythe Bailey. “As technology and travel needs evolve, we will continue to take care in evaluating and updating our programs and partnerships to best serve our community.”

Other factors that will inform the program update include data on usage, safety, sustainability, equity, mode shift, parking and prior community insights. These insights include that program offerings and policies need to be equitable; improperly parked devices can create travel obstacles; many users feel safer traveling on sidewalks rather than in streets or bike lanes; convenience is key; and safety is a priority for everyone — both those who use these devices and those who do not.
