On Transit Employee Appreciation Day, March 18, the Boulder Chamber Transportation Connections team headed to the Downtown Boulder Station with something simple but heartfelt: 50 bags packed with healthy treats and a fresh carnation, red or white, for every driver and station staff member we could find.
We were there to say thank you to the drivers from RTD, TransDev, and Via Mobility Services: the people who show up before most of us have had our first cup of coffee, ready to get our community where it needs to go. Rain or shine, they’re at the wheel, and it matters more than we often stop to say.
The smiles we saw made every bag worth packing. It’s a small gesture, but we hope it was a reminder: Boulder sees you, and Boulder is grateful.
