In an ongoing effort to maintain and improve our local roadways, CDOT has a series of paving projects planned this summer along Foothills Parkway (Hwy 157 connecting to Hwy 119). Starting this week, southbound lanes on Foothills Parkway (CO 157) between Jay Road and Valmont Road will be closed for pavement rehabilitation work. The work will shift to northbound lanes next week, weather permitting. See the project webpage for specific details: codot.gov/projects/co157pavement
Please consider ways to “enjoy driving less” by reducing your solo vehicle trips this season. When driving, try to avoid Foothills Parkway between Jay Road and Pearl Street on upcoming weekends.
RTD transit service to Boulder Junction at Depot Square Station is not expected to be impacted, and the Hop bus continues to operate frequently everyday for easy car-free trips between downtown, Boulder Junction, 29th Street Mall, and the CU-Boulder campus.
Always slow down in cone zones, remain alert for workers or equipment, and leave plenty of stopping distance between yours and other vehicles on the road.

Thank you for helping to grow our community of sustainable travelers!
