The CO 119 Safety, Mobility and Bikeway Project is constructing improvements to make traveling through the corridor safer for all modes, and to make transit travel faster and more reliable. The project is designed to integrate with other active multimodal projects on the corridor to ensure community members can safely and reliably travel throughout the corridor using their mode(s) of choice.
Traffic Update December 15-16
On Monday, Dec. 15, and Tuesday, Dec. 16 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, crews will close North 71st Street between Monarch Road (south of the business park) and CO 119/Diagonal Highway to all modes of transportation. The entrance to the business park on 71st Street will remain open.

- For alternate access, those traveling southbound on 71st Street should continue east on Monarch Road to access southbound CO 119.
- Businesses can be accessed by using Monarch Road, north of 71st Street at CO 119/Diagonal Highway.

This closure is required for crews to install light poles. Please use caution in the work zone and follow posted detour signs. Work schedules are subject to change and can vary based on conditions.
