In celebration of Earth Month, the Boulder Chamber completed our Colorado Clean Commute certification, awarded by the Denver Regional Council of Governments’ (DRCOG) Way to Go program.
Boulder Chamber President and CEO John Tayer installed the Colorado Clean Commute window cling in the front vestibule of the Chamber building to show visitors that our organization invests in sustainable employee transportation in many ways. The Chamber offers a flexible work schedule to help staff members reduce their trips to the office, provides EcoPasses and BCycle memberships for all employees, and provides a branded Colorado CarShare vehicle in our parking lot, along with CarShare credits to support staff members with a flexible option for carpooling or avoiding personal car ownership.
Boulder Chamber Transportation Connections wants your business to get Colorado Clean Commute certified, too! Fill out the short employer self-assessment on the Colorado Clean Commute website to get started, or contact Darcy for more information at darcy.kitching@boulderchamber.com.
