Every three years, the City of Boulder conducts the Boulder Valley Employee Survey to understand the commuting choices of people who work in the Boulder Valley, which includes the city of Boulder and some areas of unincorporated Boulder County. The survey has collected information on workers’ travel patterns for more than 30 years by selecting a statistically representative sampling of businesses to participate. This year, for the first time, the city is also offering an open survey link so anyone who works in the Boulder Valley can participate.
The online survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. It is available in English and Spanish from Oct. 27 to Dec. 1, 2025. Results track progress toward city goals and inform future actions to improve transportation options available to employees.
If your business received an invitation to participate with a unique URL, please promote that opportunity widely among staff. Not sure if your business is on the list? Reach out to Darcy: darcy.kitching @ boulderchamber.com.
