Join BTC at the City of Boulder’s free Fall Transportation Safety Fair on Saturday, September 16, between 8:00 and 10:00 am outside the North Boulder Recreation Center.
Along with the Boulder Police Department, Boulder Community Health, Community Cycles, and other partners, the city is hosting the fair as part of its Iris Avenue Transportation Improvements Project. The fair has a special focus on preparing school-aged children for safe walking, rolling, and riding. It will feature a bike helmet giveaway, a bike skills course, walk and bike route planning, and pedestrian safety tips. Come enjoy free snow-cones and share your experiences of traveling on Iris Avenue.
Pre-register for the event to sign the waiver and reserve a free bicycle helmet here.
