On Thursday, December 11, BCTC welcomed 70 people to the Boulder Chamber for our final Connect Boulder meeting of the year.
The event featured four presentations:
- A touching remembrance of Senator Faith Winter, who was killed in a car crash on November 26th;
- An insightful look into Australia’s approach to Vision Zero and safe-systems infrastructure, which has had a significant impact on rates of serious crashes;
- A panel discussion about the difference between e-bikes and e-motos, the laws that are starting to regulate two-wheeled electric vehicles, and how parents and students can make good e-bike choices;
- And an update on Eldora Mountain Resort’s sustainability successes, including preferred parking for carpoolers and direct mountain access for those who ride transit.
Two lucky attendees took home complimentary day passes to Eldora Mountain Resort, and everyone received free Eldora buffs and lip balms.
