On Thursday, September 14, Boulder Transportation Connections hosted the fourth in our series of five events celebrating the Boulder Junction neighborhood. With upbeat live music by Jeff & Paige and Selasee & the Fafa Family, food and drinks from the Roadhouse Boulder Depot, Hyatt Place Hotel, Big Wheel Beverages, and Cocktail Caravan, and participation by our local transportation partners, the energy of the event couldn’t be dampened by intermittent rain showers. We persisted through the storm and had a great time with everyone who turned out to dance, eat, drink, and learn about all the exciting transportation options and benefits available to people in Boulder Junction.
Along with offering information about the newly expanded Lime e-scooter program, the local BCycle stations, and Colorado CarShare availability in Boulder Junction, we had partners from the City of Boulder, the Colorado 7 multimodal project, Front Range Passenger Rail, RTD Northwest Rail Peak Service Study, Community Cycles, and Full Cycle Bikes sharing insights and information with participants.
We also engaged attendees in conversations about the return of bus service to the Boulder Junction RTD station and encouraged people to send emails to RTD. Our handy email template is now available to copy and customize here.
Our thanks to all who came out and joined the fun! Enjoy this gallery of photos by Boulder Chamber Ambassador Hannah Hester.
