There’s great news this summer for everyone who rides or wants to start riding an electric bike. Starting July 1, class 1 and 2 e-bikes will be allowed on some Open Space and Mountain Parks trails, including the Boulder Canyon Trail, the Cottonwood Trail, and the South Boulder Creek Path. Find more information and a map of approved trails for e-bikes on the city’s website here.
With gas prices still high, let’s clear the air on e-bike cost savings and greenhouse gases. Whether you live in Boulder or across the Front Range, your BTC Team has been hard at work giving you options to save money on your new electric bike adventure.
- If you live in the City of Boulder, sign up ASAP to get on the list for a $300-$1400 voucher.
- Don’t live in Boulder? Thousands of low- to moderate-income folks can still qualify for a $500-$1100 voucher, plus equipment incentives! Learn more here before the August rush.
- Don’t live in Boulder and you’re not income qualified? No problem. Your BTC/Boulder Chamber team helped land a $450 Rebate statewide starting next spring!
