If some or most of your employees commute to work by public transit, carpooling, vanpooling, or bicycling, the Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) can make commuting less stressful for them and encourage more employees to use these commute options.
When you purchase GRH coverage for your employees, they can request a ride home using the GRH mobile app anytime they have commuted to work by some means other than driving alone and need to leave work because of an emergency. The mobile app will arrange a ride for them with either Metro Taxi or Uber, and your GRH subscription will pay for it. The process is easy and stress-free for your employees, and they pay nothing out of pocket for the ride home unless they want to provide the driver with an extra tip.
Here’s something else to consider: did you know the State of Colorado offers a tax credit for supporting commute options, like transit passes and GRH? In most cases, 50% of these costs will be offset by the tax credit. The process is easy and we’re here to help!
