The City of Boulder will host an open house about the Iris Avenue Transportation Improvements Project on Tuesday, October 24, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. at the Foothill Elementary School library (1001 Hawthorn Avenue).
The project team will share what they have heard so far and provide new opportunities for people to weigh in on the project. More than 1,100 people participated in 21 community engagement activities throughout the summer, sharing their ideas and priorities for making Iris Avenue safer and more pleasant for people of all ages and abilities.
Snacks and child-friendly activities will be provided, and interpretation is available upon request. The project team requests three days’ notice in advance of the event to secure interpretation services.
If you can’t attend on the 24th, don’t worry! The Iris Avenue project team will post a recorded presentation of the open house materials to Be Heard Boulder, along with a questionnaire to provide input between October 24 and November 8.
