The Colorado Department of Transportation, the Regional Transportation District, Boulder County and the cities of Boulder and Longmont are implementing safety and mobility improvements along CO 119 (also known as the Diagonal Highway) that will make traveling through the corridor safer for all modes, as well as faster and more reliable for public transit.

Topics for the webinar include:

  • Project overview
  • Bikeway overpass at 63rd Avenue
  • Bikeway changes at Fourmile Canyon Creek
  • Planned Bus Rapid Transit services and other transit updates
  • Construction impacts

Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions during the live question and answer session at the end of the presentation. The webinar will be recorded and put on the website for those who can’t attend live.

“The project will begin construction on the improvements along CO 119 later this year,” said CDOT Regional Transportation Director Heather Paddock. “We want to make sure that the community is aware of the improvements and the temporary impacts so that travel remains safe for all users during construction.”
