The City of Boulder’s Pavement Management Program work on Pearl Street between Folsom and 30th Street wrapped up this week, as scheduled.
The repaving and restriping project added buffered bike lanes to both the eastbound and westbound outer lanes of the street. The buffered bike lanes and fresh pavement make Pearl Street a safer, more comfortable place to ride, so next time you’re traveling to the Boulder Chamber, grab a BCycle or get here on your own two wheels!
Crews also completed the milling, paving, and striping work on Folsom Street between Pine and Arapahoe on July 31, as planned. They restriped the existing bike lanes on Folsom and added signage to notify drivers of the reduced speed limit on the corridor, which is now 25 MPH.
Other transportation construction projects are in progress around the City of Boulder through August. Check the city’s Cone Zones website for up-to-date details about construction areas to avoid, suggested alternative routes, and project timing.
