Spread the love by joining us for one or both of two community-focused events designed to keep you warm and connected: Winter Bike to Work Day andthe Boulder End-to-End Choose Your Own Adventure Ramble.
Register now for Winter Bike to Work Day on Friday, February 13, then check out the map to plan your stops at Boulder’s breakfast stations. Don’t miss the Boulder Chamber Breakfast Superstation from 7-9 a.m. We’ll have warm burritos, hot coffee and tea, Voodoo Doughnuts, and plenty of friendly faces waiting for you!
Come for the food, stay for the fun: learn bike safety tips, get the scoop on local transportation projects, and see how Via Mobility Services keeps our community moving. Winter riding in Boulder is a breeze: our paths and bike lanes are cleared year-round, so you can pedal with confidence. If there’s snow on the ground on February 13, keep an eye out for Boulder’s famous named snowplows (“Life of a Snowgirl,” we’re looking for you!).
New to winter biking? No problem! Dress in layers – your ski gear works great for cycling. Use wider tires or lower your tire pressure for better traction, and consider studded tires for icy days. Always check the forecast and don’t forget your lights!
After enjoying the fun on Friday, show up for the invigorating Boulder End-to-End Choose Your Own Adventure Ramble, hosted by BCTC Executive Director Darcy Kitching and the Boulder Ramblers on Saturday, February 14. You can walk the full 15-mile route from Gunbarrel to South Boulder, or start at one of three other points to choose the distance that’s right for you.
Gear up for a great winter weekend of activity and community-building fun! See you there.
