What makes a city feel alive? Why do some streets invite you to slow down and enjoy, while others induce stress? And what could Boulder do, right now, to become even more of the city we all love?

Jon Jon, The Happy Urbanist

During Jon Jon’s featured presentation from 3:30 to 5 pm, we’ll enjoy a conversation about the places we love, the streets we avoid, and the small design choices that make an enormous difference in how happy, and how connected, a city feels. From 5 to 6:30 pm, we’ll keep the happiness and ideas flowing with activities hosted by key Transportation Connections partners through our Business After Hours networking happy hour.

  • A new way of seeing Boulder’s streets, neighborhoods, and public spaces
  • Insight into what the world’s most beloved cities do differently
  • Ideas and inspiration you can actually use, whether you’re a city planner, a business owner, a commuter, or simply someone who loves this city

It’s an evening of big ideas, great conversation, and fun activities, with delicious food and a cash bar!

Thanks to the City of Boulder, Via Mobility Services, and Hyatt Place Boulder for making this event possible.
