Big news for Boulder transit riders: RTD is proposing to bring back the AB2 and FF4 buses to Boulder Junction at Depot Square Station as part of its August 2025 service changes. You can add your voice of support for these changes at two virtual public meetings on Monday, June 16, and through a survey available now on RTD’s website.
Boulder Junction was designed to be a vibrant, connected hub for regional travel, but bus service was suspended in 2020 as a result of the pandemic. Restoring AB2 and FF4 service will bring back regional transit accessibility for people who live and work in Boulder Junction. The proposed routes will reconnect Boulder Junction directly to Denver International Airport and downtown Denver, giving commuters, residents, and visitors a fast and convenient travel option without needing a car.
This is a win for sustainability, accessibility, and our community. Whether you’re catching a flight, commuting to the city, heading to a meeting, or just looking for a stress-free way to travel, the return of the AB2 and FF4 will make it easier to get where you need to go.
RTD is accepting public feedback on these proposed service increases through Thursday, June 19, and your voice matters. Show your support for better transit access by reviewing the proposed service changes and submitting your comments at RTD’s Service Changes page.
Let’s help bring the AB2 and FF4 back to Boulder Junction and keep our region moving forward.
