Thanks to a generous ozone season transit grant in partnership with the Colorado Energy Office, RTD is offering TWO months of zero-fare service this summer, from July 1 to August 31. The Zero Fare for Better Air campaign aims to promote the joys of riding transit while helping to decrease ground-level ozone when pollution peaks. July and August are ideal months to try out transit if you aren’t a regular rider. If you already have a transit pass, don’t worry about showing it in July and August. Just board the bus or train and sit back, relax, and let someone else do the driving!
