The Regional Transportation District (RTD) has simplified its fare structure for buses, trains and other services as a result of its year-long fare study and equity analysis.
Effective January 1, 2024, RTD fares are changing to a reduced schedule, which includes one standard fare and one discounted fare (for seniors 65+, individuals with disabilities, and Medicare recipients). See this website for the full details about the new fare structure, illustrated below:
- 3-hour pass = $2.75/$1.35 (discounted fare)
- Day pass = $5.50/$2.70
- Airport pass = $10
- Monthly pass = $88/$27
Fares for RTD’s Access-A-Ride and LiVE programs have also been updated, along with pricing for the employer-sponsored EcoPass Program, the College Pass Program, and the Neighborhood EcoPass Program. In addition, youth ages 19 and under continue to ride free through August 2024.
