AB1: The Original Route The AB1 has been Boulder’s go-to airport bus for years, departing from Downtown Boulder Station, and picking up passengers at stops along Broadway and at Table Mesa Park and Ride. However, its popularity means it often fills up quickly during peak travel times.
AB2: The Weekday Alternative Running Monday through Friday, the AB2 departs from Boulder Junction at Depot Square Station (enter under the RTD sign in the plaza off Junction Place). The reopening of the Boulder Junction Station in September 2025 brought back this important route, and it now offers a great weekday airport option for anyone who wants to avoid the crowds downtown and travel through Boulder’s newest mobility hub.
AB3: Your Weekend Solution Flying out on a Saturday? The AB3 runs exclusively on weekends and departs from Downtown Boulder Station with additional stops along Canyon, 28th Street, and at Table Mesa Park and Ride, providing even more flexibility for weekend travelers.
RTD’s airport buses are designed with travelers in mind, featuring ample luggage storage including under-coach bins that can accommodate bags, bikes, and even skis. Drivers are available to help with loading and unloading your larger items.

Airport Fare: A day pass costs $10, or you can purchase a monthly pass for $88 if you’re a frequent flyer. Better yet? Stay Near Your Route: For anyone visiting Boulder, several hotels are conveniently located near AB2 and AB3 pickup points. The Hyatt Place Boulder/Pearl Street Hotel is right in Boulder Junction near the entrance to the RTD station. The Hilton Garden Inn and Embassy Suites hotels are located on the north side of Canyon Blvd. within a block of 28th Street. The westbound AB3 and HOP buses both stop right out front of the hotels. The Residence Inn by Marriott and the Boulder Marriott are located just south of Canyon Blvd. off McGuckin Way. Catch the eastbound AB3 bus at the stop on the south side of Canyon.
