Two regional transportation projects are open for public feedback this month: proposed “Diagonal Flyer” bus rapid transit service on CO 119, and a preliminary alternatives analysis for Front Range Passenger Rail.
On May 5, the Regional Transportation District (RTD) launched an online survey about new bus rapid transit service for stakeholders in the CO 119 (Diagonal Highway) corridor between Longmont and Boulder. RTD seeks feedback on commuter patterns and needs in the corridor, which will help inform service and schedules for the new Diagonal Flyer route. Front Range Passenger Rail (FRPR) launched its Alternatives Analysis Online Open House on May 12. The open house includes information about and links to FRPR’s service development plan and work to date, as well as progress toward starter service for regional commuter rail and how the proposed alternative for starter service was reached. Participants are invited to share their thoughts and questions about the project at the end of the open house. Click here to view the open house materials, which will be available through June 15.
