Boulder Chamber Transportation Connections has been leading the charge in support of Ballot Measure 7A with our transit advocacy partners around the region.
Ballot Measure 7A will allow the Regional Transportation District (RTD) to keep the money they raise every year from sales tax over the TABOR revenue cap. As Boulder Chamber President and CEO John Tayer explains in this opinion piece, these funds are critical to preserving transportation choices for our workforce, reducing congestion on our roads, and maintaining transit access through programs like Zero Fare for Youth.
The stakes are high – if this measure fails, RTD will lose a significant portion of its operating revenue, impacting the service we depend on today as well as putting future innovative programs at risk. Vote Yes on 7A and let’s Keep Transit Moving. Find more information and join the campaign at keepcoloradomoving.com.
