On Valentine’s Day – Friday, February 14th – Transportation Connections welcomed more than 280 cyclists, walkers, and pets to our Winter Bike to Work Day breakfast super station at the Boulder Chamber. It was a heart-warming morning filled with conversation and community building, with hot Ampersand Coffee and breakfast burritos from Boulder Bridge House for all who stopped by.

Riders and guests also enjoyed picking up custom transportation-themed Valentines to give their sweethearts, compliments of the Way to Go program of DRCOG and RTD. Jonathan Singer, senior director of Policy Programs at the Chamber, holds up our favorite in the picture on the right below: “I choo-choo-choose you,” which featured an image of a heart inside the window of an RTD train.

Our transportation and community partners filled out the parking lot, offering riders treats and opportunities to weigh in on current projects. Big thanks to RTD, Via Mobility Services, Boulder County, Mobility for All, and the City of Boulder for joining us and sharing the love on a chilly Friday morning!
